(1) CHIP PROGRAMMERS: The SuperPro Series
(USB Interface)
These USB chip programmers are industrial-quality, portable
and have very fast programming speeds for large memory devices.
They support a huge range of IC chips.
Each model comes with a 48-pin ZIF DIP socket and supports DIP devices
from 8 to 48 pins without any optional adapters.
Some models can also be operated under the stand-alone mode of operation without
the use of a PC.
All models support a wide variety of device package types (such as
PLCC, TQFP, PGA, SOIC, PSOP, TSOP, etc) with optional package adapters.
The major differences among the programmer models are the number
of device types supported.
You can use the device list link of a programmer to make sure that
the devices you need to program are supported by that model. As a general
rule, lower-cost programmers support subsets of higher-cost programmers.
Universal chip programmer with stand-alone
capability and 144 pin-drivers.
Supports devices up to 48-pin DIPs on standard equipment.
Supports surface-mount devices with sturdy, optional, adapters.

(2) UNIVERSAL CHIP PROGRAMMERS: The PILOT Series
(Parallel Port Interface)
These universal chip programmers
feature time-proven, durable, ESD-shielded, solid-metal
construction. Compared to competing models in its class:
the PILOT programmers have more robust and more reliable pin-drivers,
plus built-in power supplies.
Individual programmable pin drivers allow the support of
a wide range of memories, microcontrollers and logic devices, including
bipolar PALs, GALs, EPLDs, PROMs, EPROMs, EEPROMs, FLASH,
serial PROMs, PICs and other microcontrollers, etc.
The PILOT-MVP is a compact, low-cost model,
whereas the PILOT-Uxx-Plus models feature the proprietary
RPDS(TM) Redundant Pin Driver System where a failed
pin driver can be detected automatically and electronically
replaced by another pin driver.
They support a wide variety of device package
types (such as BGA, uBGA, PLCC, PQFP, PGA, SOIC, PSOP, TSOP,…) with
reliable modules directly from Advin. All units are expandable to do
8-site or 16-site gang programming with GM gang modules.
The Most Valuable Programmer.
Very durable and reliable industrial quality programmer.
Supports DIPs up to 40 pins on standard equipment.
Supports surface-mount devices and larger devices of up to
84 pins with optional modules.
Expandable to 8-site with GM gang modules.
