Beautiful scenery at this time of the year.

A 2-hour hike or bike.

You can either hike or bike there.

(Beginner or leisure level hiking. Intermediate level mountain biking)

Meet 3:15 pm or before at CCIC.

Leaving 3:30 pm.  We shall car-pool to the trail head.  It shall take 45 min. for the drive from CCIC to the parking lot shown as [P] at the lower right corner here:

Driving instructions from CCIC:

280 North, then West on Page Mill Road. Cross 35, then parking lot is at your right.

Bring spare clothing. It could be cold in the evening..

 

We shall finish and be back at the trail-head by 6:30 pm.

 

We plan to be back at CCIC around 7 pm.-ish

General Notes:

Environment: Since we have a good size group, we need to observe the serenity and quietness around us.  Refrain from yelling and shouting, unless there is danger.

Difficult: 1 is like walking 2 hours on level streets. 

2=hiking 1-2  hours up Fremont Older (600 ft)

3=hiking 2 hours on Black Mt trail= walking up Empire State Building (1000 ft climb).

5=hiking up all the way to Black Mtn (2300 ft climb)

Weather: If it rains one hour before the activity, then activity will be automatically cancelled.

If in doubt, call one of the following contacts.

Safety:  Some trails are also used by bikers.  When we walk on wide trails, remember to leave room on the left side for bikes to pass.
