Hiking to Mission Peak

 

When you look towards Fremont and Milpitas from the Sunnyvale side,

you can see a range of mountains.  The left-most peak is Mission Peak.

There are two trail heads:

1.   Ohlone College, at the left-most side of the map

      Here is map of Ohlone College. Parking lot P is at northern most.  A
      fee of $2 is required.   If lot P is full, then lot O, N, M are also usable.

      If we are starting from this trail head, we shall take the Peak Trail.  

 

2.   End of Stanford Ave, off Mission Blvd

      If we are starting from this trail head, we shall take the main trail,

      which is called either Hidden Valley or Ohlone Wilderness, then

      the Peak Trail.  (Do not take the Horse Heaven Trail)

can turn back at half way point (There is a rest room there).
